Here are the answers to the most commonly asked questions about American Credit Repair.
American Credit Repair is a free referral service that specializes in matching our visitors with credit repair companies that can help them clean up their credit reports and improve their credit scores. We have a network of respected, established credit repair companies that are comprised of legal professionals who have specialized in credit repair for decades. You will have a savvy, experienced team of attorneys and other legal professionals working on your behalf with the credit bureaus.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act gives consumers the right to a credit report that is 100% accurate. If your report contains items that are inaccurate or questionable, you are legally entitled to dispute them and have them removed. According to this law, you can dispute items on your credit report, and the credit bureau then has 30 days to investigate your dispute. If the credit bureau cannot verify the item as accurate within that time, they must remove it from your report, by law. Thus, not only is American Credit Repair legal, but it also uses your legal rights to help maximize your credit score.
The kinds of items we can remove from your report will depend on whether the credit bureau can substantiate them as true. However, in the past, American Credit Repair has removed items like bankruptcies, late payments, charge-offs, liens, judgments, collections, and much more.
At American Credit Repair, we do not believe you should have to pay for services that do not work. Thus, if after you have been a customer for 12 months you are not satisfied with your results, you can request that we review your file. American Credit Repair will then compare the value of the items we have had removed for you to what you have paid for our services. If there is a disparity between these two numbers, we will refund you the difference.
You can get free quotes on American Credit Repair services simply by filling out our online form. In general, most credit repair services charge a one-time set-up fee of around $99 in additional to a monthly fee that typically ranges from $39-$79, depending on which level of service you select.
